Yoga Classes

Gentle Yoga is a great introduction to yoga, it is for anyone wanting to stretch, learn how to breathe optimally, relax and to treat yourself well. This class is slow paced, with short holdings of postures. Open to all ages and physical conditions, and abilities. No experience necessary.

Beginner Yoga is a gentle, systematic program that works the whole body without trauma. Flexibility is not a prerequisite, but rather an outcome of yoga. This class is designed to gently help you build strength, increase flexibility, improve mental clarity, and energize the body. As you become balanced physically, you also become balanced mentally and emotionally, which can enable you to handle any stress that comes your way. (For beginners or those who like a more gentle practice.)

Yogilates combines stretching techniques from yoga with core strengthening practices from Pilates for a total mind/body work out.

Kripalu Intermediate/Dynamic Yoga is for the student who is comfortable with basic asana and pranayama and is ready to approach variations of these practices in a more dynamic way while maintaining a compassionate approach. Opportunity to deepen your concentration and focus your mind through breath and movement.  Some advanced asana with high level of guidance introduced.

Fitness Yoga increases strength, flexibility, mind/body awareness, and sense of self through traditional yoga and stretching postures. Class format includes warm-up, work, balance, cooldown, and relaxation. Appropriate for all levels.

Moderate Yoga is paced and designed for the student who is comfortable with basic postures and modifications to suit their own physical needs and limitations.  Variations of basic postures offered .  You will gently build strength, increase flexibility, improve mental clarity and energize the body. As you become balanced physically, you become balanced mentally and emotionally, being able to handle any stress that comes your way.

TWB Fusion Class-(The Whole Body Fusion Class) -will awaken your body, mind & spirit with a blend of yoga, muscle toning, and Pilates,  This class may be just what you need to revitalize your commitment to exercise.  It will energize you while targeting a variety of things like strength, balance, stability, core strength, agility, endurance and more.  It will challenge your muscles in a different way while providing, a fast effective workout for people with busy schedules.

Evening Yoga is a relaxing yoga experience to help you unwind at the end of the day. This class includes warm-ups, a variety of floor postures, basic standing postures, a meditation-in-motion posture flow, and relaxation. A well- balanced experience--great for increasing flexibility, releasing tension, opening the spine, back care, and gentle strengthening. Appropriate for all levels. There's no need to be especially strong or flexible to receive the full benefits of Kripalu Yoga.

Candlelight Yoga is a gentle systematic program that works the whole body.  This class is designed to gently help you relieve every day stress as well as increase flexibility, improve mental clarity and energize the body. As you become balanced physically, you become balanced mentally and emotionally, being able to handle any stress that comes your way.  Candlelight Yoga is a great way to end a hectic week in any lifestyle.  Appropriate for all levels.

Kids Yoga Using relaxing music, movement, and yoga postures, participants will be invited to playfully journey through yoga classes designed specifically for kids.  Children can enjoy the many benefits of yoga including greater flexibility, relaxation, strength, focus, energy and confidence.
 
Teen Yoga The teenage years are full of so many challenges... the body and its organs are developing to their fullest potential, the emotions are shifting and changing with the wind, and the mind is dealing with academic and societal expectations beyond what many of us parents ever had to deal with in our time.  Yoga is a wonderfully grounding practice for teenagers.  It can help them to build strength, security, confidence, and trust not only in their physical bodies, but in their minds and hearts.
