Spas in Sedona
Sedona has a spa on every corner. Well it seems it does. This area is considered a natural healing area and it is no wonder there are so many spas, wellness centers, metaphysical centers and new age retail shops. Cheryl tried two different spa and visited some of the natural healing centers.
The Spa at Sedona Rouge
Located in West Sedona, this is a large luxury spa attached to the Sedona Rouge hotel. The hotel is part of the upscale boutique hotels that are finding a niche market. The spa has a very friendly staff and a wide range of treatments. The spa décor is simple but very elegant and looks like it uses environmentally coverings. The design is most certainly inspired by the beautiful surroundings of the red rocks. There is also a restaurant at the hotel called Reds and it serves a spa cuisine. Cheryl rates this very high. Body Bliss
Located in downtown Sedona this is an extremely small boutique store with a massage area. Body Bliss has a full range of spa products that it makes by hand in the Sedona area. The massage area is designed to put those products to work on customers. Cheryl had a fantastic massage from a woman that also provided local information. Mii amo at Enchantment Resort
So you want the big resort spa experience. Look no farther than Enchantment Resort. On the scale of Rancho La Puerta, Canyon Ranch or Mirabel (which is also located in AZ), the Enchantment Resort is a full resort spa experience. Located back against the red rocks in Boynton Canyon, which is out of town in the Red Rocks Park, Enchantment has amazing views, a 3-par golf course and of course Mii amo. This is a private spa available only to the guests of Enchantment so we were only able to see the spa from the drive.
