Pilates Mat Classes
Pilates Mat I is for those who are new to pilates. This class will teach you the principles that are fundamental to the exercises.
Pilates Mat II is for those who have mastered the principles and are ready to build on them. (prerequisite Mat I)
Pilates Mat III is for those who have mastered the basic exercises and are ready to challenge their strength, coordination, and flexibility. This workout will leave you invigorated and with a heightened body awareness. (prerequisite Mat II)
Standing Pilates will challenge your core while improving balance and building bone density. These advanced exercises will combine core control with limb movements to give your body a totally integrated, and highly functional, workout. (Not suitable for beginners or those with injuries to ankles, knees, hips, or spine.
All group mat classes may utilize
equipment-flex-bands, fitness circles, etc.
Semi-Private Reformer will take your body through a series of highly effective, coordinated movements using progressive resistance (prerequisite Mat I and II or Private sessions). See schedule or arrange specific times. Private sessions available by appointment — a private session will advance your practice to the next level. |
